Job Details – Labor & Delivery RN Travel Assignment
- Location: Santa Clara, CA 95051 (California nursing jobs)
- Assignment Type: Travel Nursing – Registered Nurse
- Unit: Labor & Delivery (L&D) – Maternal Health
- Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 12/2/2025 – End: 2/28/2026)
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,830 - $3,030
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience in Labor & Delivery nursing
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Active California Registered Nurse License (CA RN License required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) or related field
- Preferred: 5+ years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience (within last 2 years)
- Preferred: 1 year of high-risk labor and delivery experience within last 2 years
- Preferred: High Risk OB experience
Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities
- Deliver expert nursing care to patients in the Labor & Delivery unit, including high-risk obstetric cases
- Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor and delivery
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Administer medications and clinical interventions as ordered
- Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital policies and procedures
